How do i play classic xbox games on my 360 without getting an update from xbox live?
Can i play classic xbox games on an arcade? (I have a hard drive and theres still a lot of memory in it)
I’ve tried using a usb device and ive updated my xbox but i still can’t play classic xbox games.
You have to download an emulator for each original xbox game you want to play (assuming one is available at all). If you don’t download it from xbox live, there are a few other ways. They are described in this link.

Arcades can play original xbox games, but you have to have a storage device to save the emulator on.

Click my source to see the list of backwards compatible games. If the game is not on the list, it cannot be played on the 360.
If the game is not on the list and you cannot play it, you will need to update your console’s backwards compatibility.

You can’t the 360 is not truly backwards compatible, it requires a patch for all original xbox games to work on it, that being said, I’ve had mine forever and could not tell you if any of the newer consoles come this those patches already installed.

You dont. you must connect to the internet and be connected to the internet when you put the disk in. your 360 will update and your golden.
Remember though that not all original games will work. for a complete list go to the xbox 360 homepage.
