Like is there going to be new pokemon games for the nintendo dsi or will it be for a different console made by nintendo? Because I want to consider buying a nintendo dsi just because of the pokemon game.

Hey Holy Prayer,

Well if you were meaning how long the Nintendo DSi will last for as in, how long until a newer Nintendo Console will come out, you are looking at probably about 2-3 years until Nintendo will actually release another new hand held console.

But if you really like the Pokemon games, then just buy them, it will last for quite a while yet. It will be a long wait if you want to wait for the new hand-held to come out. Hope this helps!

The only upcoming Pokemon game I know of is Pokemon Heart Gold/ Soul Silver, remakes of Pokemon Gold and Silver. It’s playable on both the DSi and DS Lite. Every past Pokemon game for the DS can also be played on the DSi. It’s pretty much an enhanced version of the DS Lite, not to mention it now supports WPA encryption keys.

Yet, if you are only playing it for the Pokemon games, it will not last long. That is unless you can stick to Pokemon games for years.
