Hi, I have an xbox controller plugged into my computer (USB). I downloaded some stuff for it a while ago, and now it connects fine. However, the buttons (bar the main X one) do not function. I believe this is because I have not told them what to do, what do I need to do that?

I Have microsoft xbox status and microsoft xbox help installed and working on my computer.

You need to go to the game that you are going to be using the controller with and assign the keys from there. It would most likely be in the settings or options menu of the game.

Hi all.I want to know how can i record Xbox 360 game play when my Xbox is connected to my PC monitor with an hdmi/VGA cable(not connected to TV).Do i need a capture card?If yes which one should i buy?I would also like to know the step by step procedure on how to setup everything so i can record gameplay for Xbox connected to my PC monitor.Any help would be appreciated.

Hey I done this a few days ago. you need a capture card I bought one from amazon it was an "Easy Cap" works fine picture wasnt the best but I will put a link in you can see what I recorded the other link i have put in bellow is for a tutorial on how to set it up.

If it it windows 7 then software for this is hard to get it took me a few hours of looking before i could get it working.

(Dont buy it off of ebay because there is a lot of fakes out there your best buying from Amazon)
